Your Kid Can Be a Pool Safety Superhero with Batman & Superman 3D Muscle Flotation Vests
Is the weather hot where you live? It’s hot here. It’s not technically summer yet, but it’s so miserably hot and humid, and that’s full-on summer to me.
Of course summer isn’t all bad. We have fun things like vacations, trips to the pool, and plenty of sunny days for any outdoor activities you love. It seems like many of our trips and outdoor fun include water and swimming pools, so today I want to focus on a product that makes swimming safer.
As you know, water safety is of the utmost importance. It’s so easy for something to go wrong in the blink of an eye, especially for children who aren’t strong swimmers. I’ve made a point to keep my kids in swim vests and the like, but unfortunately, in my experience, kids don’t love wearing flotation devices. That doesn’t mean they won’t be wearing them, as that’s non-negotiable, but it has been hard to find vests my kids like and enjoy wearing. Lucky for all of us, Edge Brands hopes to change that with its new superhero flotation vests!
Now, these aren’t just any old swim vests. They’re innovative swimming aids that keep your little ones afloat while looking, well, super! The vests feature DC Comics Justice League heroes like Superman and Batman. Not only is your kiddo’s favorite superhero logo proudly displayed on the front of the vest, it’s also designed to give a little “muscle” in the form of a padded torso. So yes, they look great, but they’re also highly functional and phase 2 of a 3-step swim program.
Edge’s Swim Phase program takes kids through 3 phases to help them learn to swim in a natural way at their own pace. Swim Phase 1 supports babies as they’re introduced to water, and helps them stay afloat. Swim Phase 2 (i.e. these superhero vests) provides support while children learn to safely balance and paddle in the water. Finally, Swim Phase 3 is a graduated flotation system that advances swimming ability.
I really love these vests and Edge’s Swim Phase system. Right now, my son is a strong Swim Phase 2 learner, and he absolutely loves his Superman vest. He thinks he looks cool (and he definitely does!), and I can rest easier knowing that not only is he wearing a safety device, he’s wearing one specifically made to cater to his needs as a Phase 2 swimmer. The vest is a two-piece flotation “suit,” which is made from durable material and features an elastic strap for a custom, secure fit. He’s getting exactly the kind of support he needs in a fun package that he and I both love!
Right now you can purchase these Swim Phase 2 Justice League vests at Toys R’ Us, where you’ll also find gear for Phases 1 and 3. I can’t recommend these enough, and I’m certain your children will love their vests as much as mine. To learn more about Edge’s Swim Phase program and purchase gear, check out all the fun and functional designs in their Phase 1, Phase 2, and Phase 3 collections at ToysRUs.com.

That is such a great, and safe, idea! My son has really been interested in swimming this summer but of course with getting older he’s also getting braver. This is something that would make me feel much more relaxed while we’re in the pool together.
This is so cool! I love to buy one for my son, I am very sure that he will enjoy swimming to the next level.
But how to choose between Batman or Superman? Okay, I pick Superman!
My son would love either of those. He’d love to have both even more!
These are totally adorable! This reminds me, I need to get a safety vest for my daughter. We are waiting for the pool to get warmer before going in with her for the first time!
