Walk on Water with Hydrofeet Dynamic Liquid Massaging Insoles
We’ve talked about feet here at Game on Mom in the past, and with good reason: they’re something many of us have problems with.
Unfortunately, there’s also a bit of a stigma attached to having “bad feet”, isn’t there? Most of my friends don’t understand my foot woes. “But why would you need orthotic insoles, you’re in your 30s!” They just don’t get it. But my feet hurt, and they’re even worse after my adventure with a broken leg, which is why I am always excited to try a new product like insoles. Hydrofeet recently sent me a complimentary sample to try, and I’m excited to share my experience.
Hydrofeet Dynamic Liquid Massaging Orthotic Insoles are definitely different than any insoles I’ve tried in the past. They are actually filled with a vegetable-based (and FDA approved) glycerin. Unlike many “gel” insoles, these feel more substantially filled, if that makes sense. That filling gives excellent support in your foot arch and provides stability while standing, walking, or even doing light-impact sports. Hydrofeet Insoles are meant to feel like you’re “walking on water”, and indeed they do. The glycerin filling combined with a thermoplastic polyurethane coating allow the glycerin to move back and forth under your feet as you move, providing instant massage and reflexology benefits. I’ll admit, it’s a bit of a strange sensation at first, but in no time at all I adjusted and walking in them felt totally natural.
So how exactly are insoles valuable? Obviously the first and easiest answer is “they cushion your feet”! This is absolutely true, but Hydrofeet Insoles do much more. Because they do provide better stability and less impact, as I mentioned above, they put your feet back in a normal healthy state. Not only is this great for foot issues like sore feet, bunions, and plantar fasciitis, it goes beyond the foot and helps with Achilles’ tendonitis, knee, hip and back pain, peripheral neuropathy, and even poor blood circulation. Have you ever noticed back pain after being on your feet for awhile? That’s the kind of thing insoles can help; putting your feet into a healthy state also improves you overall comfort and posture, eliminating some of the unnatural pressure placed on your back when you unconsciously adjust your body to accommodate your sore feet.
Hydrofeet Insoles also outperform other orthotic insoles in structure and composition. They do not have sharp or pointed edges that can hurt the feet (especially those of diabetics); they are hypo-allergenic and anti-microbial to avoid odors and bacterial growth; they can be used with any type of footwear, including flip-flops; they can be machine washed and air dried; the thermoplastic polyurethane coating can withstand any weight; and finally, because glycerin is food grade and safe to ingest, these insoles are safe to have around children and pets (because if we’re being honest, accidents do happen, and you know how Fido likes to chew on shoes with little Janie sitting nearby).
As for me, I’ve used my pair of insoles frequently. It’s been a very busy couple of weeks, with a birthday party for one of my children and several other parties to attend (you can imagine how much running and shopping was involved in that!). My feet definitely hurt less when I’m wearing Hydrofeet. The arch support is great, but if I have one wish, it would be additional heel support. Otherwise, I’m very happy with them and I know they’ll get significant use.
Hydrofeet Insoles come in both women’s and men’s sizes, and can be trimmed to perfectly fit your favorite shoes. Check them out on Amazon–they have a 4/5 star rating and a 30-day money back guarantee, so what have you got to lose? Grab a pair, give them a try, and feel the difference.
