Turn Your Favorite Picture into a Piece of Art with Canvas Factory! (Giveaway)
I have always wanted a canvas print of one of our wedding photos, but it’s never been a priority item… and so, though we’ve been married 10 years, I have never gotten one made. So when I had a chance to review canvas art from Canvas Factory, I jumped at the chance, knowing full well I’d select a wedding photo.
Canvas Factory offers free shipping on every purchase. Whilst this is awesome, it comes with a caveat, at least based on my experience. Because the printed canvas shipped directly from China, it took nearly three weeks to arrive. Now, if you have the time to wait, that’s probably not a big deal. But if you’re on a deadline, for example if you were printing something to give as a gift, then you probably would want to see if they offer expedited, guaranteed shipping options.
So, I got my canvas after about three weeks. The construction is solid, and it has a built in wall hanger, which is really useful. It arrived packaged with cardboard corners we had to remove. This is obviously done to protect the canvas during shipping. In my case, however, the person who packaged it put staples into those cardboard corners that actually went right through and into the canvas itself. Fortunately, no obvious damage was done (the staples were thankfully in the back of the print) and using pliers we were able to get them out easily enough. Still, I did feel this warranted a mention.
As for the print itself, it’s nice. I feel like the color balance is a little off, but it still looks lovely hanging in our great room. Above is a picture of the canvas itself, on the wall near our front door (we’re going to pretend I didn’t take the picture crooked… I assure you it’s straight on the wall!).
Canvas Factory offers a wide variety of canvas print styles and sizes, including the single print, as I have, or photo collages and split panels, so if you want something more unique or with more than one photo, definitely check out the various options available! These prints really turn your favorite pics into pieces of art, and would make wonderfully thoughtful gifts.
I am definitely happy to have it, and it’s made me smile when I’ve walked by it. It’s been a long time dream, and thanks to the people at Canvas Factory, it’s finally come true.
