The Christmas Pickle Tradition Keepsake Gift Set
I am so excited to be starting a new Christmas Tradition with my family this year. I have always heard about the “Christmas Pickle”, but without knowing anything about it our tree has been “pickle-less” for years. That was until my friend Denise introduced me to the Christmas Pickle Tradition.
The Christmas Pickle Tradition comes in a beautiful boxed set with a book, a shiny pickle ornament and a place to write down the name of the first one to find the Christmas Pickle on Christmas morning each year. The story behind the Christmas Pickle helps readers follow the story of Pickle, The Christmas Elf, who learns the importance of giving while being the inspiration for Santa’s new tradition. The book contains bright and colorful illustrations and is so well written by Tammy Lee Dwyer that my children have enjoyed reading it over and over again. My children cannot wait to leave the pickle out on Christmas Eve along with some milk and cookies for Santa.
This year, not only will they wake to the excitement of presents, they will have fun searching our Christmas Tree for the Christmas Pickle Ornament. I can just imagine the fun my three children will have searching for it in hope to be the first one to spot the pickle ornament without using their hands to touch the tree in order to get a special gift from Santa Claus!
This ready-to-gift box set priced just under $30 is beautifully presented and will make a great gift or wonderful addition to your family’s traditions. You can shop and read more about the ChristmasPickleTradition.com. They are currently shipping orders within 24 hours from the order placement and it is noted on their website that to ensure delivery by Christmas, be sure to order this wonderful boxed set by December 21st!

oh my gosh i been hanging a pickle on my tree for 20 yrs. now my grandkids love it
I’d never heard of this before, but it sounds really neat!
I love this! My parents always did this growing up, and now that I live on my own I need to get one!
I’ve actually never heard of this before. Sounds like a neat tradition to start!
This was a tradition on my mom’s side of the family – I always figured it had norwegian roots because of that but I haven’t heard anyone else talk about it before!
I’ve also never heard of this, but it looks pretty cool! Thanks for sharing.
I wanted to start this tradition for my grandkids. Thank you for reminding me.
This sounds like a super cute idea! My sister has a little one and I’m thinking she might like this, too!
There’s no way I’d hang that on a tree. It’s just silly.
Now this is cute and it would be fun to share this tradition with a familywith young children and a way to keep the story alive, thank you for sharing this story and the pickle
This is an American tradition from the 19th century, not German, like people first thought. Our family hangs apples on our tree due to our Swedish tradition. I have no problem hanging a pickle on my tree, for the grandchildren, who would love it.
I love this idea and doing things like this for Christmas traditions. The kids really enjoy it and it makes Christmas more fun and enjoyable!
this is such a good idea but i think i’d use something more healthy.
This would be such a fun Christmas tradition to do! My kids would really enjoy it. 🙂

I didn’t understand the point of the pickle until now
This sounds like such a nice Christmas tradition! I had never heard of it before now…I must admit, that Pickle Ornament is quite beautiful 🙂
I want to start this tradition. love it.
Sometimes I’d rather have a pickle than a cookie so I can understand how Santa might want a choice.
Love this — my sister has done this in her family for years and her kids love it.
I love making memories and something there is something special about an ornament . Knowing years from now ,my grandchildren will go through and pick the special one for them

I was just talking to my mom the other day about traditions and she mentioned the pickle tradition. I had no clue what she was talking, now I do. This is such a cute tradition and unique. I will need to pick one of these up for Christmas.
I have seen the Pickle but never know they story behind it. Thank you for telling us.
