Summer Travel Tips & New Breakfast Biscuits from Honey Bunches of Oats (Giveaway)
Honey Bunches of Oats provided samples of their new breakfast biscuits for us to review. All opinions are 100% my own.
It’s officially summer! It’s felt like summer for weeks now, but Sunday marked our “official” entrance into the season I’ve loved since I was a kid.
You can probably guess that one of the reasons I loved summer growing up was because school was out and vacations were near! My kids have proven to be just like their mother, and wouldn’t you know it? Summers are suddenly more stressful for me as an adult. 🙂
Summer breakfasts vary a bit from the rest of the year, but one thing remains the same: my kids and I love Honey Bunches of Oats! A delicious bowl of cereal, some toast and fruit, and we have a healthy breakfast that keeps us full and energized.
But what happens at snack time? I’m happy (thrilled) to tell you that Honey Bunches of Oats now has your snack needs totally covered.
Honey Bunches of Oats Breakfast Biscuits are here! Sometimes mornings are super rushed, even in the summer, and you need an easy on-the-go option for you and the kids. Also, parents: if you like coffee and are a fan of dunking things in said coffee, get these immediately. They’re perfect for dunking! You can also enjoy them topped with yogurt and berries to get your day started off with a balanced breakfast.
These biscuits, made with 100% whole grains, are yummy enough for a quick and easy breakfast, but they really shine as the perfect snack food. When the kids are wearing themselves out playing in the hot summer sun, they’re a great way to keep the kids energized and getting their whole grains. I can testify that my kids love them and are excited to eat them! My son loves the chocolate flavor, I’m partial to the strawberry, and my daughter says it’s a tie between the strawberry and the honey. They’re all delicious!
Another benefit to Honey Bunches of Oats Breakfast Biscuits: they’re absolutely perfect for the car! Summer road trips can be tedious and stressful, but when you have easy, fun snacks that will keep the kids happy, things are easier. Avoid the “are we there yet” syndrome by keep a variety of Breakfast Biscuits flavors and some water packed with your other travel necessities. The entire family will feel better, have more fun, and make special memories that last a lifetime. my best tip is to pack a little cooler my kids can keep between them in the backseat, that they can reach, that has juice or water, fruit and snacks they can open themselves….if they are old enough to eat unsupervised of course. it saves having to pull over and stop when the kids get hungry
