What would you say if I asked you to come clean my toilet?  Seriously.  It’s not news to anyone who knows me that I don’t care for cleaning, but I am especially put off by toilet bowls, and I welcome anything that makes keeping them clean a less hands-on experience for me.  When Soft Scrub sent me their new 4-in-1 Toilet Care in Sapphire Waters to try, I didn’t waste any time in putting it to work in the most used bathroom of the house.

Soft Scrub 4-in-1 Toilet Care promises to do 4 things that we all want in a potty cleaner:

• Clean your toilet – That one is pretty obvious.
• Prevents future build up – So I can ignore my toilet for longer periods of time.
• Fight toilet ring – No one likes ring around the toilet.
• Freshen for up to 4 weeks – Fresh is much better than the alternative.

It comes attached to a rim a hanger that clips right to the toilet and holds the cleaner securely in place.  As far as placement goes, they suggest the product be in the flow of the water as the toilet is flushed.  This makes sense, but it does make it a little awkward for use in our main bathroom.  Before setting this up, I hadn’t noticed that the water flows out from the very front of that toilet.  (Most toilets I’ve used have the water streaming from somewhere on the side.)  So, this means that you can see the hanger sticking out from the toilet.  Unless you’re my 3-year-old son, it doesn’t get in the way of using the toilet, but guests might look twice.

Other than that little placement issue, I’ve been happy with the product.  After a few weeks of using it, the toilet is looking pretty good…and without any effort on my part!  The Sapphire Waters fragrance is light and just right for a bathroom.  I generally prefer all products in my life to be as close to fragrance-free as possible, so it’s nice to find a toilet bowl cleaner that isn’t overwhelming.
