Slimmer, Smoother, and Supported Thanks to Leonisa
Let’s talk about my love/hate relationship with body shapers.
I love the fact there’s something I can slip on underneath a dress to help smooth and slim those problem areas that are accentuated by certain fabrics (or by having had two babies). And I hate how uncomfortable and constricting most of those shapers feel. If you’ve ever worn one, you know exactly what I mean.
I’ve tried countless versions over the years, and while they’ve mostly done their job well, none of them have been perfect. Fortunately, I recently tried out one more and couldn’t be happier with the results!
Leonisa is a new-to-me brand of lingerie and shapers, and they use the latest technology in all their products to guarantee the best fit and maximum comfort. I’ve been wearing the Strapless Power Tummy Trimmer Compression Shaper in black for several days now, and I love it.
This shaper has an excellent design that makes it comfortable and easy to put on (and take off). If you’ve worn shapers before, you know how difficult it can be to even put one on, and I’m really happy with the ease of this one. The difference lies in the fact it has a front zipper, and underneath the zipper you’ll find three inner hooks. It’s guaranteed to stay in place, and you won’t have to get in a full workout just trying to get into it.
This design is open bust (which means it stops just under your bust), so you can wear your favorite bra. Leonisa also makes coordinating bras, if matching is important to you. This shaper is called strapless, and it does have anti-slip grip lining to keep it in place, but it also has optional straps that easily attach/detach, depending on your needs. Whether you want to wear it under a sexy strapless dress or under jeans and a cute top, it works. I love how versatile this is!
The shaper provides power tummy control with latex and powernet. It has cotton lining on the inside to protect your skin from the latex and to provide a more comfortable feel. This shaper will accentuate your curves while reducing your waist, back, and tummy. It also shapes your hips and has a special cut on the rear to enhance the natural shape without flattening it.
One of the biggest issues I’ve had with shapers I’ve worn in the past is how they would ride/roll up. They just never stay put, and there is nothing flattering about shapewear that’s bunched up. This style completely eliminates that problem and provides continuous support and smoothing. When I first saw it, I was worried it would make bathroom trips a lot more complicated, but they’ve taken care of that, so you don’t have any need to worry. No more bulges–just a great look no matter what you’re wearing it with. And so comfortable! I can wear this all day and hardly notice it’s there. Seriously, I never new how comfortable firm support could be.
I’m sure that if you try this Leonisa shaper, you’ll love it as much as I do! You can find it in nude and black, in sizes XS-XXL. If you need less or more coverage, they have plenty of shapewear to choose from! I’m hooked on this style, and I’m definitely going to pick up a second shaper in nude.

Anything that helps me pull in the chub and make me look sexier is A-Okay in my book! I will have to look into getting something from them!

I could use enhancement like that – turning 40 did nothing for my body last year!

I love this only thing is I wear a bra size that is out of this world so that may have a hard time fitting but other than that I love it.

um, yea. me too. the girls are enormous!
I think after having children we can all use a little something extra to smooth things out! This looks like a nice shaper too. It’s hard to find one that hugs all the right places and conceals the not so great areas!

Wow from that image I almost couldn’t tell that those were two separate pieces! And I bet that the front zipper really does make a difference!!

I would like the straps that attach – I’m afraid it would roll down! Would the fabric glide under a dress? It would add a layer of warmth in this cold!

I have TRIED to wear things under nice dresses and I have yet to find an undergarment that does not ride up or roll up or go up. What’s the point when you have to spend your entire time adjusting it?? This definitely looks interesting.

Wow, that doesn’t look like two separate pieces! It definitely matches very well. I am actually going to be on the hunt for shapwear for my birthday dress soon, it’s very snug fitting and I want to make sure everything stays in place while I dance the night away!

I have had that same rollup problem and it drives me crazy. Good to know that Leonisa shapewear stays put!

Very interesting. I have never worn a shaper, only because I haven’t gone anywhere fancy enough to wear a dress that would require one. Maybe that should be one of my goals this year! This one looks very comfortable. I’m glad you’ve found one that is comfortable. It’s truly difficult to have fun when you’re uncomfortable.

Sounds like a great shaper! However, I am allergic to latex! Thanks for the heads up that it’s in the product. I do hate how other brands are soooo difficult to put on and take off!

Leonisa is a great brand and they have loads of beautiful lingerie. This product looks very interesting. Just too hot for the climat where I live.
I used to have one of those to wear under my dresses. I love how smooth they make everything, and you don’t have to worry about your dress blowing up and exposing yourself!

I love the look of this and that it won’t roll up. Very nice!
It is nice that there are products like this that can make a woman feel more confident. Girl power. 🙂

That looks so awkward to try to get into? Is it? I’ve tried the middle tummy bands before, but nothing like this.

I have a wedding in May and while I’m working out daily I would love this to keep me slim under the gown.
I’ve never worn or own one of these, but I’ve been thinking about it since I wear a lot of dresses to work. I love that this one has straps!

I also have a love/hate relationship with body shapers…I feel so restricted most of the time. This looks like one I would give a try!
I’ve never heard of Leonisa before, but their shapers look great! The Strapless Power Tummy Trimmer Compression Shaper sounds like the perfect thing for a new mom!

I’m not familiar with Leonisa, but I do love shapewear! I don’t have many opportunities to dress up, but when I do, a little extra shaping is nice to have.
