Slide, Spin, & Battle with SkaZooms + Giveaway
How many of you played with toy cars growing up? I sure did, particularly the small metal micro cars. My cousins and I would sit around for hours, racing our cars, running them on tracks, pretending they were capable of crushing each other, and launching them with rubber bands, among other things. If it was possible to do with a toy car, we probably did it.
One of our biggest problems was losing the wheels on our cars, or that thing that happens when the wheels don’t turn well and cause all sorts of hang-ups and lost races. I can now say I’ve found an excellent modern-day remedy to that problem: SkaZooms.
SkaZooms are fairly new to the toy world. They’re small little toys that feature a character with its own custom helmet and board (resembling a skateboard), and they’re meant to be zoomed all over the place. If your child likes toy cars, SkaZooms will definitely be a hit in your house. SkaZooms easily glide across any smooth surface, so they’re perfect for racing and more.
To make the most of your SkaZooms, there are several fun accessories available, including:
The Zoom Launcher
If you’ve ever launched a toy car with a rubber band, you’re going to love this. As you might have guessed, it launches your SkaZooms! You can use it as a stand-alone accessory, and you can also use it along with the other accessories to ramp up the excitement.
The Ramp Ride
This is like the sort of ramp you might find at a skateboarding park, and you can launch your SkaZooms to make them whip around the ramp.
The Stunt Bowl
This is a bowl-shaped device that you hold in your hand and makes your SkaZooms perform jumps, flips, and more.
The Battle Boggan
This is an actual “arena” in which your SkaZooms can compete against each other. They spin, smash, jump, bash, and even knock the arena “spectators” out of their seats. It’s kind of like super extreme spinning, smashing bumper cars, and it’s loads of fun!
Whether you have the accessories or not, there really are no rules when it comes to SkaZooms. They slip, slide, zoom, and crash, and you can use them in any way you want, which makes them a really enjoyable set of toys.
Another thing I like about SkaZooms is the fact that all the characters are customizable. As I mentioned above, each character comes with its own customized helmet and board. Both of those pieces attach to the character by snapping them on, and you can easily switch out and interchange the helmets and boards of other characters. The look of the characters is also really neat; they have an interesting and modern design, and all the characters are gender neutral, so girls and boys alike will be able to enjoy SkaZooms. There are ten funky characters to choose from, and with the customization options available, your kids will be able to create a character that’s perfect for them.
