Shopping Walmart the Pinterest Way with Spark Studio
Busy moms (and busy people in general), this post is for you!
There is an amazing and fun new tool from Walmart called Spark Studio, and it’s about to make your life much easier.
Spark Studio is the fun, new, and exciting way to shop Walmart. They have created an innovative shopping experience that will give you the opportunity to shop how you want to. Inspired by Walmart shoppers, you can find and select items crowd-sourced by Pinterest users. Find something you like? Pin it, or purchase the item through Walmart [dot] com. And it’s as easy as that!
Spark Studio gives you several ways to browse and shop, including by Brand, Color, Top Pinned, and Category. Maybe you want to look at the latest kitchen gadgets from Better Homes and Garden, or peruse the pink bedroom gear for your daughter’s room makeover, or even just have a look at what other shoppers are pinning – you can do it all with Spark Studio!
I had the pleasure of test-driving Spark Studio, and I absolutely love it. It makes online shopping feel more like browsing in the store, and I love the variety of options I can use to explore. And let’s face it: we’re all busy, whether we’re stay at home parents, business women and men, students, or anything in between. Anything that helps simplify and expedite the shopping process is a definite plus in my book!
Still not sure how this might work for you? Let’s have a look at the different ways you can enjoy Spark Studio.
Are you a stay at home mom? Do you find that you’re so busy with the kids everyday that even a quick trip to Walmart feels like a trek up Mount Everest? I know how you feel! And that’s one reason I’m loving Spark Studio. Whether I’m out of lipstick or need to redecorate my living room, I can find and purchase everything I need without ever shedding my pajamas or leaving the house!
Or maybe you’re a business owner, and you’re ready to finally get all the supplies you need to make your office functional and inviting. From pencils to coffee makers, Spark Studio has you covered. If your days are filled with meetings and paperwork and short lunches, this will be the ultimate timesaver!
And perhaps you’re a student (or maybe you have a child who will venture out and experience dorm life for the first time this fall), and you need to get your gear. Bedding sets, storage tools, paper, pencils, and water bottles – yes, Spark Studio has it! And imagine how easy it would be if your child pins what they like with Spark Studio, and you simply click and order.
Sounds great, right? It is! Look how easy it is to browse for everything you need:
1. Shop by featured brand (currently Disney, Better Homes and Gardens, and Graco)
2. Shop by color (browse the spectrum!)
3. Shop by top-pinned (explore what’s popular with other shoppers)
4. Shop by category (Inspirations, Fashion & Beauty, For the Home, Babies, Pets, and Play Time)
And it’s as simple as that. Pin items you want to return to later, or purchase them through Walmart [dot] com.
I had so much fun browsing through the different ways to shop, I thought I might share with you my Top Five Favorite Items. It was hard to narrow down!
1. Fisher Price Rainforest Bedding – I found this one through the Browse by Color option
2. Huffy Panama Jack Women’s Cruiser Bike – I also found this with Browse by Color
3. Better Homes and Gardens Floral Printed Rug – Found with Browse by Brand
4. Maybelline Color Whisper Lipstick – Found in the Top-Pinned Items on Pinterest
5. Keurig Mini Plus Personal Coffee Brewer – Also found in the Top-Pinned Items on Pinterest
I hope you’re as excited about Spark Studio as I am! I may or may not spend a lot of time on Pinterest, anyway (ahem), so this is right up my alley. Easy, fun, collaborative, and inspired? I’m sold!
If you’d like to have a look at all the items I pinned, check out my Spark Studio Pinterest Board. If you get excited and create your own Pinterest board, please leave a link in the comments section of this post. I’d love to see what you pinned!
