Relax and Let the Dyson 360 Eye Do the Dirty Work
When it comes to household chores, some are more “painful” than others. I don’t mind ironing clothes, but I loathe washing the dishes. I’m not a huge fan of laundry, but it’s better than dusting. And vacuuming…
Well. I don’t like it. Vacuuming might actually be my least favorite chore, and I bet some of you would agree. I hate pushing a big, loud machine around. I hate juggling and jumping rope with the electrical cord just to get to all the nooks and crannies of my house. I hate lugging a vacuum from room to room, and don’t even get me started on dragging it up and down the stairs.
But, I have kids. And that means you’ll find me lugging a vacuum around the house quite often. I don’t know how they do it, really, but it’s like they have a magical ability to keep the floors dirty. Pair that with the natural daily dirt and grime that we track in from outdoors and you have a problem that requires constant attention.
Instead of fighting with a large vacuum, lately I’ve been using Dyson’s new 360 Eye Robotic Vacuum. It’s definitely made it easier to keep my floors clean!
The Dyson 360 Eye is an automated “robot” vacuum that works on its own to clean your floors while you focus on more important things. You’ve probably seen similar robotic vacuums in the past, but believe me, you haven’t seen one quite like this. It’s a Dyson, and it’s every bit as powerful as you would expect a Dyson product to be (twice the suction of any robot vacuum, to be precise).
Dyson’s 360 Eye has powerful suction that works on any floor type, so you can use this on carpet, hardwood, or anything in between. It’s also intelligent: this little robot vacuum calculates a systematic cleaning pattern and retains that information; this means it knows where it has been and knows where it needs to go. No more missed spots! It also has a system that detects obstacles and drops, so it can easily avoid bumping into things or accidentally going down stairs. This is one of my favorite features, because I really feel like I can trust it to do its own thing and stay out of trouble, so to speak.
You can select one of two cleaning modes: single charge and automatic recharging. Single charge mode cleans the accessible space on a single charge only, and when the battery gets low the vacuum will return to its starting place. In automatic recharging mode, the 360 Eye automatically makes its way back to the charging station to recharge and then continues its work after sufficiently replenished. You also don’t have to worry about the machine navigating between different types of flooring on its trek around the house because it has tank tracks. Yes, those belts just like you see on tanks! This helps the machine easily pass over any bumpy terrain it might encounter moving between rooms.
Another fun feature is the Dyson Link app. You can download this companion app to your smartphone and use it to register, control, and schedule your 360 Eye. The app allows you to switch between Max mode (for maximum suction) and Quiet mode (for a 35% quieter experience), and it also offers options for scheduling regular and recurring cleaning times. Full disclosure: I did have some trouble getting the app to connect to our wifi the first few times. After everything connected, it was easy to use. The app shows us how much time the vacuum spent working, how much space it covered, and how much battery power is available. Speaking of battery power: I’m averaging about 35 minutes on a single charge. That’s enough power to cover my largest and most frequently used room, but if you plan to cover your entire house you’ll want to use the automatic recharging mode and allow time for it to take breaks for recharging.
The Dyson 360 Eye really does pack a lot of power into a small body, and I’ve been really pleased with the results. It’s opened up more time for me to do other things around the house, and daily use keeps dirt on floors from getting out of control. If you could use a hand with keeping your floors spotless and would like to learn more about all of the 360 Eye’s features, just visit Dyson.com to get started.

I WOULD LOVE ONE OF THESE!
Oh my goodness this vacuum sounds amazing! I would love one for Christmas this year. I will have to write to Santa.
I actually enjoy vacuuming and hate all the other household stuff. The Dyson looks like a nifty cleaning gadget to have.
Wow, I’ve never tried anything like this one. I would like to have it soon!
I need one of these!! They seem like they would come in handy!
This is going on my Christmas wish list. Since my daughter started solid, I’m always walking around with a broom. This would save me so much time.

Does that work well in hardwood floors and tiles? With 4 kids, I would really need some extra help.
That vacuum sounds super cool! Unfortunately, as a mom of Lego-lovers, I’ll have to stick to a vacuum that requires real eyes for a while. Nobody likes their Legos to disappear into the vacuum bag. (Of course, if they’d just clean them up . . . .)

I love our Dyson vacuum so very much and had no idea they made a robotic version. If it is anything like the standard models, this is an absolute must have!
