The New Dyson Small Ball is Big on Efficiency
Thank you to Dyson for sharing a complimentary sample in exchange for our honest feedback!
When it comes to household chores, I have a policy: I am always on high alert, looking for things that will help me complete chores better and more efficiently. This may seem like a no-brainer, but at a certain point it’s like you just hit a wall with the efficiency part.
Thankfully, there are companies out there that are constantly working to make products that push the boundaries and excel over the competition when it comes to efficiency and quality, and Dyson is one of those brands.
Dyson is well-known for its commitment to continuous improvement, and if you think about top of the line vacuums, I bet Dyson is the first name that comes to mind. After all, they’ve been creating the best products on the market since 1978! And it’s time to get ready to meet their next innovative vacuum in 2016: the Dyson Small Ball Multi Floor Upright Vacuum.
The Dyson Small Ball features Radial Root Cyclone technology, which is designed to maximize power using a mesh shroud and inner cyclones. These help separate debris and create powerful centrifugal force, which means microscopic particles like pollen and mold are separated from the airflow. As for that debris, emptying this vacuum is hygienic and could not be easier: just push a button to release dirt directly into the trash. It’s also 30% quieter than its predecessors, having been re-engineered to reduce noise and improve sound quality.
This vacuum is also super maneuverable. The motor, filter, ducting, valves, and stand have been engineered into the ball, which allows the Dyson Small Ball to navigate tight corners and spaces. One of my cleaning pet peeves is dealing with a vacuum that can’t get into those small spaces that gather the most dust. Being forced to attach hoses or get out a separate handheld vacuum definitely works against my efficiency policy, so I love the fact that Dyson places such value on maneuverability. This vacuum weighs only 12.15 pounds, so it’s light to carry and use, and you’ll also save on storage (the retractable handle saves up to 50% more storage space than a full-size upright vacuum. Oh, and the cable is long enough that the Small Ball has 25% longer cleaning reach that Dyson’s previous upright machines. I love it.
As for quality, Dyson upright vacuums are subjected to 550 tests over 50,000 hours. During the course of its development, a Dyson vacuum will be dropped onto a hard floor 5,318 times, and it will run 847 miles on a turntable rig, which, for reference, is nearly the same distance from Chicago to New York City. Additionally, the Dyson Small Ball comes with a 5 year parts and labor warranty. In other words, this vacuum is built to last, and Dyson stands by its work.
The Dyson Small Ball was made available to the public on February 28, 2016, so it’s the newest and best vacuum on the market! To learn more about Dyson and their new lightweight vacuum, check out Dyson.com. When you’re ready to buy, you can grab this beauty at Amazon.com and enjoy free shipping.

Holy wow that thing is a monster! I could have definitely used this Dyson when we had more carpet. Now we only have it in 2 bedrooms and a large rug in our room.

I need something that’s light and easy to move around. The one I have now is too hard for me to use.

Normally, I wouldn’t be excited about a cleaning tool for Mother’s Day, but I wouldn’t be disappointed if this one made an appearance this year.
I’ve had my Dyson for about ten years now. It’s great, but it really is big and heavy. I’d like to trade!
This really looks like space-age technology! I definitely need a powerful vacuum in this household with 2 dogs and 8 cats!
