Natracare: Because Women Deserve to Know
This post is brought to you by Natracare and NaturallySavvy.com
When possible, the folks at Game on Mom always choose organic and natural products. Sometimes they can be difficult to find, and there is often a question of how well an organic product works compared to a synthetic, so when we have an opportunity to share a great organic product with you, we get excited!
Today we want to let you know about a couple of products by Natracare. We were able to try out two of their products: organic cotton baby wipes and panty liners. Both products are USDA Certified Biobased, approved by The Vegetarian Society, and are never tested on animals.
Natracare wet wipes are award-winning certified organic 100% cotton. They’re great for baby wipes, but if you don’t have babies, you can still get a lot of mileage out of these. They’re perfect for keeping on hand for sticky messes, cleaning hands and faces, and removing makeup. The wipes are free from detergents like sodium lauryl sulphate (SLS) and any of its close relatives, parabens, SHG, and other types of formaldehyde releasing preservatives. They’re also compostable and biodegradable! The next time baby needs a new diaper or a kiddo got carried away with a sticky snack (and even if mom smudges her makeup or gets grime on her hands checking the oil in the car), you can reach for these wipes and know they’re a safe, smart choice.
Natracare’s organic fold-and-wrap panty liner is also a good product. The liner is totally chlorine free, and the only thing touching your skin is organic 100% cotton.
You might not be aware of this (I wasn’t), but companies that make feminine hygiene products are not required to fully disclose the ingredients of their tampons and pads on the packaging. That’s because they’re considered to be “medical devices.” It’s really a scary thought, considering the close and extended contact you have with these products! Also, tampons and pads with odor neutralizers and other artificial fragrances are loaded with chemicals, laced with artificial colors, polyester, adhesives, polyethylene, polypropylene, and propylene glycol – these are contaminants linked to hormone disruption, cancer, birth defects, dryness, and infertility. But we don’t know for sure exactly what’s in there, because they don’t have to tell us.
It’s nice to know there are products like the Natracare liners, because we do know what’s in them, and we know they’re okay. And yes, they work well. We haven’t tried the full-sized pads, but for everyday wear or those uncertain days before and after your period, these panty liners definitely do the job.
They have the same shape and design you can expect with regular liners, with all the benefits of a natural product. They also have individual packaging for discreet disposal.
Still need convincing? Check out this video comparing what happens when Natracare liners are burned alongside the Always brand. The results are shocking!
Join Andrea Donsky and the Naturally Savvy team in putting an end to this breach of public trust by signing our petition to Procter & Gamble, one of the largest producers of feminine hygiene products, urging them to tell us what’s in their sanitary pads and tampons. Free samples of Natracare wipes and panty liners were received for evaluation. No other compensation was provided. All opinions contained in this post are honest and my own.

I’ve never heard of this brand, but I love that it is natural.
Honestly I had no idea that tampons and pads contained so many contaminants! WOW! 🙁 I will definitely be a lot more careful when choosing feminine care products and wipes. Natracare sounds like they have some great products.

I love all things organic, it just is better for you. I don’t normally use panty liners but we use baby wipes daily. I think that both of these are great products. I love that they are gentle on your skin too. Thanks for sharing
