mykind Organics Multivitamins are Made from Real Food + Giveaway with 5 Winners!
My family’s health is, of course, a priority for me, but I also know it’s equally as important to take care of myself. Most of my nutrition comes from whole, organic foods, but even when I plan out my meals, there will inevitably be some things missing. To fill those nutritional gaps, I rely on vitamins. I’m as picky about the quality of my vitamins as I am about my food though, so finding supplements that meet all of my requirements has been difficult.
Last July, I discovered Garden of Life at the BlogHer conference and was very impressed with what they do. Garden of Life, the #1 whole foods supplement company in the Natural Products Industry, combines the best of nature and science to bring you premium products that will help you attain extraordinary health. They offer a wide variety of USDA Certified Organic and Non-GMO verified supplements, and each is created with your family’s health in mind.
Now back to taking care of me. Garden of Life’s mykind Organics line is exactly what I’ve been looking for in vitamins. Each formula is made from REAL FOOD. (That’s not something I’ve found in most of the vitamins that I’ve come across.) Their ingredients come from over 30 fruits, vegetables, and herbs so that they’re rich in powerful plant-derived phytochemicals and cofactors, such as antioxidants, carotenoids, flavanols, isoflavones, catechins, anthocyanins, polyphenols, vitamins, and trace minerals. I’ve been taking mykind Organics Women’s Multi and the B-Complex, and I couldn’t be happier with them.
The Women’s Multi contains 16 vitamins & minerals with greater than 100% daily value. Among them, you’ll find 60% of your daily value of iron, 250% of your daily value of D3, and plenty of B Vitamins. These also have iodine, and as someone who doesn’t use processed table salt or eat many sea vegetables, that’s something I look for in a supplement. Again, it all comes from real food, and it’s vegan certified and non-gmo verified. Like most multivitamins, there isn’t much calcium or magnesium in these, so you’ll want to look for an additional supplement if that’s important to you.
Their B-Complex provides 100% DV and more of all the B vitamins. Extra B vitamins are great if you’re a tired and stressed mommy who needs all the help she can get. I certainly am one of those, so I welcome the extra energy they give me. I’ve also found that they do wonders for my hair, skin, and nails.
One thing I especially love about Garden of Life mykind Organics is that they do not contain any synthetic binders or fillers. I’ve have spent too many hours of my life reading supplement labels trying to find products that don’t contain junk like magnesium stearate and titanium dioxide, and I’ve found almost nothing. Now that I have Garden of Life to rely on, I know my vitamins are helping me and not harming me. More about mykind Organics:
- CERTIFIED ORGANIC – Farmed without the use of toxic pesticides and fertilizers
- NON-GMO VERIFIED – Independent, third party verification

I am glad companies like this are finally making supplements that work with my allergens. Gluten free, dairy free, soy free, that’s for me.
I plan on trying their B-12 spray, and maybe their calcium, soon! Love their products 🙂
I am always trying to lose weight so I would be interested in trying their fucoTHIN product. It has pomegranate seed oil in it which I heard was very healthy.
I would like to try the probiotics and calcium. I don’t have the best diet and I’m worried about not getting enough calcium.
I would love to try the RAW protein also — it looks great.
I tried to comment on the water savers post as a guest. I got a message saying forbidden. So I’ll leave my reply here. I have my car inspected each Dec. If there’s a problem, it’s taken care of.
Primal Defense® Kids.
I’d like to try fücoPROTEIN Bars.
Every time I vote on the fence I get a bad gateway message. It does allow me to claim the entry. Is that okay?
