Meet Zookiez Slappy: Plush Toys You Wear on Your Wrist

There’s a toy I was introduced to at an event I attended over the summer, and both my kids fell in love with it.  I haven’t heard much about it in the real world, so I wanted to make sure I shared it with you guys.  The toy I’m talking about is Zookiez Slappy, which is essentially an adorable stuffed animal that you can wear on your wrist.

What you’re looking at there is a cuddly plush doll that is also a slap bracelet.  You can slap it onto your wrist, but you can also attach it to other things, like backpacks and chairs. Once it’s snapped onto something, it hangs on pretty tightly.

The Zookiez Slappy collection consists of a whole zooful of animals.  Choose from a moose named Knuckle, a Penguin named Buster, a Duck named Dixie, or one of many others.  They even have a giraffe that they named Geoffrey, in honor of the character from the now defunct but still beloved Toys R Us store.  All of the animals are super soft, super cute, and a little bit squishy.  Each doll is tagged with its name, birth date, and astrological sign.  (That part makes me giggle.)  There’s also a spot to write in the names of the gift recipient and giver.

Carefully created with the finest stuffing and furs, Zookiez are durable and long-lasting. They’re quality-made for every child, whether it’s to take on vacation or to bed every night.

Zookiez come in two sizes:  the regular Zookiez Slappy and a mini version called Zookiez Slappy Jr.  To give you an idea about the sizes, I was able to comfortably fit the mini Slappy onto my own adult-sized wrist, so even big kids can wear the smaller one.

Zookiez can be purchased at Walmart and QVC.  I’ve also seen them on Amazon, but usually from third-party sellers with high prices.  But you know how things are always changing on Amazon, so you might want to check there just in case.
