Make Room in Your Fridge for Melt Organic + Giveaway
Butter. What a vice. It makes everything so rich and delicious, and there is nothing like a dessert made with real butter. Unfortunately, butter is also bad for my waistline. Like everyone else, I’ve dabbled in margarine in the past, but I just won’t do it anymore. It’s bad. It doesn’t taste great, and it’s bad for you. (Of course, how could anything loaded with artificial ingredients, synthetic vitamins, and high in trans fatty acids be good for you? But I digress).
So, what’s a girl to do? Could there really be a butter replacement that’s not bad for you? Yes, there is. And get this: it’s actually good for you!
MELT Organic has a delicious, trans fat-free, gluten-free, dairy-free, and soy-free line of “butter improvements”, and my family is absolutely loving it! MELT provides the classic, creamy, rich flavor of butter using substitutes like the healthiest plant- and fruit-based oils, including virgin coconut and Rainforest Alliance certified palm fruit, hi-oleic sunflower, and other better-for-you ingredients. You can use MELT Organic just like you would use butter: spread it, bake with it, cook with it, sauté with it.
MELT Organic isn’t just good for your body; it’s also good for the earth. MELT offers vegan buttery spreads and sticks that are made with eco-social and fair trade ingredients (and are kosher, certified USDA organic, and Non-GMO Project Verified). MELT’s square packaging also reduces greenhouse emissions when compared to the traditional round tub, as it requires less space to store and transport.
MELT Organic is available in several varieties, including Rich & Creamy MELT Organic Buttery Spread, Honey MELT (featuring honey and cinnamon), Chocolate MELT Organic (featuring cocoa and honey), MELT Organic Buttery Sticks, and Probiotic MELT Organic Buttery Spread (featuring stable probiotic GanedenBC30).
To take MELT Organic for a baking test spin, I decided to make these yummy MELT in Your Mouth Brownies using the Rich & Creamy Buttery Spread. As a personal touch, I added a few chocolate chips to the brownie mix because that’s how my kids like them. Verdict: these brownies are delicious! You honestly can’t tell they’re not made with real butter, and both of my kids loved them. I’ve also been using the Rich & Creamy spread on toast and bagels in the morning, and my kids haven’t even commented on the switch from butter. We’re all happy with MELT Organic, and I’m sure you will be too!

I love that it’s organic and vegan! It sounds so much more appetizing than margarine.
