Kuroba: An Exciting Twist on Rock, Paper, Scissors
Ready for an exciting twist on the classic game of Rock, Paper, Scissors? Let me introduce you to Kuroba, a new line of collectible cube-shaped creatures that love to battle one another.
Cute, aren’t they? We’ve got the Kuroba Battle Packs, and each one includes 2 transforming creatures, 2 creature gems, and 3 extra panels. There are currently four different Battle Packs available, and all of the panels can be mixed and matched to create unique characters. So get your character ready and challenge a friend!
To prepare for a battle, start by removing the Kuroba creature’s face plate to reveal the strategy panel. Move the little tab up and down to select Rock, Paper, or Scissors, and snap the face back into position. Then you basically turn your Kuroba inside out and fold all the sides so they’re locked into place. Each player then places her Kuroba cube on a flat surface with the “K” logo facing up, and the battle begins. Players slide their cubes toward each other and watch to see who wins!
If your child knows how to play Rock, Paper, Scissors, then she’ll pick this up in no time. The game is essentially the same, but there’s a whole lot more action! Kuroba cubes are also fun to customize and collect, so that’s another aspect of this toy that kids will go wild over. And it’s not just the cubes that are collectible; the matching gems are as well. Kids can collect these and trade them with friends to keep track of who’s one the most matches.
Kuroba is mostly aimed at girls, but I can tell you that my son is just as big a fan as my daughter is. He loves to challenge his sister, and he doesn’t care one bit what color his cube is, so don’t let the pink packaging hold you back. It’s a simple and fun game that anyone can play and everyone will enjoy.
