Kids Have a Blast with Technology at iD Tech Mini Camps. Save $15!
Game on Mom values any kind of fun that also offers educational value for kids. We’ve featured items here in the past that combine fun and learning, but nothing quite like iD Tech Mini.
iD Tech Mini is a mini camp for kids ages 6-9, with a focus on creativity, exploration, and friendship gained through fun courses in programming, video game design, and robotics. These fun half-day and full-day camps help kids discover a love for tech with nurturing, personalized instruction and lots of project-based discovery. Campers will get hands-on STEM experience (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math), along with engineering principles, spatial reasoning, programming concepts, and problem-solving skills.
At the iD Tech Mini Maker Station, your kids will get to explore hands-on toys and technologies that go beyond the core curriculum. They’ll get to make new friends and gain valuable experience with Minecraft, coding, Photoshop, robotics, and more. I think that’s really cool. I was an adult before I ever had experience with some of those, and as for others (like robotics), well…I’m still lacking. This will give your kids a chance to get a head start on skills they will need increasingly throughout their lives in the modern age.
Courses at iD Tech Mini include Junior/Master Programmer, Junior/Master Robotics Engineer, Junior/Master Minecraft Game Designer, Junior/Master Adobe Photoshop Designer. Locations include the Town School, Berkeley Carroll School, Caltech, and select campuses nationwide. (Have a look at the iD Tech Mini Locations list for more information).
Mini ages. Mini prices. Mini commute. HUGE fun. It’s never too early for your kids to dream BIG! You can also save $15 with promo code NYCMINI2015 when you pay in full during registration by February 28th. To learn more about iD Tech Mini, check out their website, call 1-888-709-TECH (8324), or follow them on Facebook and Twitter.

My youngest would love this, my oldest might be interested in the robotics engineer portion. I will definitely be checking this out.
These sound like great camps. It’s awesome that kids can have so much fun while they are learning too.
