It’s Cold & Flu Season, but #ReliefIsHere with Vicks DayQuil & NyQuil Severe!
This post is sponsored by SheSpeaks and P&G.
Here we are in mid-February, and you know what that means…
Cold and flu season is still in full swing, and I bet that someone that you know has already battled the flu. Maybe it was even you. And wow, is it truly a battle! If you’ve ever had the flu, no matter how long ago it was, you remember it. Part of you feels like you were run over by a train, and the other part of you wishes a train would run over you. It’s the worst!
Of course there’s no overnight miracle cure for a cold or flu, but it is totally possible to relieve your symptoms and make the process much less painful. Products like Vicks NyQuil and DayQuil Severe Cold & Flu are the go-to reinforcements you need in your flu-fighting army. #ReliefIsHere!
Before I go further, the best advice I can give you is this: the next time you go to Walmart, go ahead and stock up on both NyQuil and DayQuil. Even if you’re not currently sick, now is the time to grab them – what happens if you wait until you or someone in your family gets sick? Then you or someone else has to rush to the store for medicine, which takes away from your valuable healing time and also risks spreading cold and flu germs outside your home, which is no good. So get thee to a Walmart, STAT! (Or if getting to the store isn’t an option, you can also purchase from online from Walmart.com).
Now. Let us talk about what NyQuil Severe Cold & Flu and DayQuil Severe Cold & Flu can do for you. They both have the same powerful symptom-fighting ingredients to help maximize your fight against illness, but as you might already know, NyQuil is perfect for nighttime relief (it will help you sleep) while DayQuil’s non-drowsy formula will get you through the daytime.
Both products will help combat nasal and sinus congestion and pressure, cough, sore throat, aches and pains, runny nose and sneezing, and fever. NyQuil specifically helps reduce cough to help you sleep and helps keep you drowsy enough to rest well, and DayQuil helps loosen phlegm to make coughs more productive while allowing you to stay awake and get things done throughout the day. As you can see, they both have specific advantages depending on your needs, so it’s great to have both on-hand!
So don’t forget. Before colds and flu come to you, stock up on NyQuil and DayQuil and have your arsenal fully stocked and ready to go. You can’t beat Walmart’s price (especially on the combo pack), and while you’re there you can also stock up on other sick-day necessities like Puffs tissues, fuzzy blankets, and everything you need in your pantry for a fresh pot of chicken soup (extra noodles please). If you do get sick, you’ll be able to say #ReliefIsHere right out of the gate!

I actually just bought the 2 pack because my son is sick and I know we may end up catching it too – never can be too prepared 🙂
I buy a Nyquil pack every year. Once my son goes through a cold or fever, I’m bound to get sick too!

Nyquil is how I get through a bad cold or flu. This year the pressure got so bad I had a sinus infection. That was the worst! I started using Nyquil Severe at night and it really helped me to sleep.

It is sub zero out there today and I had to go to a client. Her house was definitely on the colder side–I am now sitting here with a headache that won’t quit and feeling miserable. I have to go out tomorrow again and think I’d better pick up at least the Dayquil–I can barely keep my eyes open as it is!!

This medicine is a gift from the powers that be. I swear by it every time I get sick. It really works so much better than any other medicine out there. I honestly think it works better than anything in prescription form as well.
I like Nyquil to help me sleep when I have a bad cold.
I have heard so much about these but I’ve never tried them. To be honest I could probably use them right now since I am fighting a cold that’s making for an uneasy sleep.
