Give the Gift of Fragrance with the Incredible Scent Trios from Lisa Hoffman Beauty
I’ve been searching for the perfect perfume since I was in high school, so I have been through more than my fair share of scents. Some good, some were great, and some should be avoided at all costs, but those are a story for another day.
In my quest for my perfect signature scent, I’ve discovered that I like floral and woodsy scents the best. Now of course this is completely subjective, but I’ve never been a big fan of fruity, citrusy scents, or those loaded with too much musk and spice. Not that musk and spice are bad: they’re perfect in moderation, but even a bit too much is hard to bear.
Since the quest for a perfect scent is ongoing, I’ve just tried three new scents from Lisa Hoffman Beauty: Japanese Agarwood, Tuscan Fig, and French Clary Sage.
The reason I shared my preferences above is to tell you how much I love all three of these scents, and how they each fit so well into my category of “requirements,” just like I’d hoped they would when I picked them.
Agarwood is a dark heartwood that forms in certain evergreen trees native to Southeast Asia. As such, you’ve probably already guessed that this scent has a woody feel. It’s not just a standard “woody” scent though – it’s much more than that, as it’s accented with bergamot, spiced ginger, and amber. It’s woody without being too crisp and dark, and it’s warm without being too sweet or musky. It’s really unique.
This one is quite sweet, but not overwhelmingly so. The sweet and rich notes of Tuscan fig are highlighted with vanilla bean, honeysuckle, coconut wood, and gardenia. I tend to change scents with the season, and the richness and warmth of this one makes it a perfect choice for fall and winter. It just begs to be worn with a cozy sweater and boots.
I’ve been hoping for a new everyday scent for some time now, and this is it. It has a clean scent of clary sage with hints of yellow freesia, cotton, and linen. I’ve found that some scents labeled as “crisp” can be downright acrid, but this is nothing of the sort. French Clary Sage is crisp and clean, but the scent is still soft, somehow, and really refreshing. I look forward to wearing this one more often.
Lisa Hoffman Beauty has several other scents to choose from, and I would really love to smell them. Other options are Hawaiian Plumeria, Brazilian Begonia, Tunisian Neroli, Kerala Ashok Garden, and Madagascar Orchid. Buying fragrances online can be difficult, but the website offers a Fragrance 101 Glossary which nicely defines all the terms you might come across when reading about a scent. It definitely helps!
In addition to traditional perfumes, Lisa Hoffman Beauty also features scented jewelry! You can choose from necklaces and bracelets with charms that hold eco-friendly fragrance beads made from pure perfume. The charms are refillable, so you can switch out scents and refill as you go. I think this is a really interesting idea, and one I never would have thought of, but it makes perfect sense for someone who might deal with skin irritation with traditional perfumes, or anyone who simply wants a unique way to carry fragrance with them throughout the day.
Great news: Holiday Fragrance Trios are now only $49 each! To learn more about Lisa Hoffman Beauty and the different scents available, check out LisaHoffmanBeauty.com. Also make sure to follow them on Facebook and Twitter to stay up to date on new products.

I love trying new perfume and these sound amazing! Thanks for the info.
My mom always wears the same perfume and it is her signature scent. I think it is fun to test different fragrances to see what is preferred and how you want to be remembered when people smell the fragrance that is worn. These all sound nice and I’ll have to check them out.
The Tuscan fig scent sounds intriguing! What a great gift idea.
