Ella’s Kitchen for Happy & Healthy Kids! (Giveaway)
If you have tiny people at home and are concerned with what you put into their tiny bodies, then you’ve probably heard of Ella’s Kitchen. If you haven’t, then let me tell you: you’ve been missing out.
Ella’s makes yummy, healthy, 100% organic foods for babies and kids. They’ve got cereals, fruit & veggie purees, cookies, and more, and they sent me a complimentary variety pack to try out.
We’ve had many Ella’s pouches, but the rest of the products were new to us. I don’t have any babies around me right now, but I didn’t see anything to indicate there was an age limit on these goodies, so I figured I’d give them to my kids and see how it went.
My daughter started with the Raspberry + Vanilla Puffits and my son chose the Apples + Cinnamon Munchy Biscuits. The Puffits (for kiddos 7 months and up) are like other puffs we’ve tried in that they are firm to the touch, but they melt quickly once you pop them in your mouth. What I like about these puffs is that all the flavor is packed neatly inside so you aren’t left with messy fingers to clean up. My little girl thinks they’re yummy, and she asked if she could take them to school for snacktime. The Munchy Biscuits (10+ months) are basically little cookies, but they’re sweetened with honey instead of refined sugar. When I asked my boy what he thought of them, he said, “They were delicious!”
Mommy likes the Nibbly Fingers the best. Yes, I had to sample them. Cranberry + Acai and Bananas + Raisins just sounded so good, I couldn’t resist. The kids also gave them two thumbs up, so I’m going to try save the rest for them, but I make no guarantees. I can think of worse snacks for me to munch on.
We already knew we were fans of Ella’s pouches, but two of the ones we received were actually new to us. The Purple One & the Red One (how did they know red is my favorite flavor?) are “squished smoothie fruits”. I can’t think of a better (or cuter) description for them, as they’re a deliciously healthy blend of assorted fruits that your kids will love. Mine certainly did! And as I’ve said before, I love the pouches for when we’re on-the-go…which is pretty much always.
As a label reader, I really appreciate having products like those from Ella’s Kitchen available. Most foods you find at the grocery store are still full of chemicals, pesticides, and other artificial, unhealthy things. I love knowing that I can grab any Ella’s item from the store shelf and not have to worry about any of that. I’m happy and the kids are happy AND healthy. Thanks, Ella’s! (Now where are those left over Nibbly Fingers…)
