Ekobrew Reusable K-Cup Filter Giveaway
If you happened to catch my recent Keurig post, you know that I’m having fun with my new toy. I’m addicted to the convenience as much as I am to the coffee, but I’ve been feeling so very wasteful with all of these K-Cups I’ve been going through. Ekobrew to the rescue!
Ekobrew is a reusable filter for Keurig single cup brewers. Yes, now you can enjoy your Keurig without any of the guilt! With K-Cups, you use one and when you want another cup of coffee, you use another K-Cup. It goes on, and on, and on. And on. Ekobrew, on the other hand, can be used over, and over, and over again. And over again. This BPA-Free blessing is dishwasher safe and super easy to use. Easy to use is essential for something I’m using when I’m half asleep.
Step 1: Fill it 2/3 to 3/4 full. Step 2: Put the filter in the brewer. Step 3: Make coffee. Seriously, there is no thought involved. When you’re done, you just rinse it out and it’s ready for next time. You only need to do a full washing about once a week depending on how often you use it and what kind of coffee you brew. It works with most Keurig, Mr. Coffee, Breville, and Cuisinart single cup brewers, but you can check their web site to make sure that your model is compatible.
With Ekobrew, you’re not limited to what’s available in K-Cups. Honestly, this is almost as exciting to me as being less wasteful is. If, like me, you love single cup brewers but are frustrated by not being able to use it with your favorite coffee, then this is the solution. Not only will be able to enjoy our drink of choice (any brand, any flavor!), but you’re likely to save some money on the deal too. Those K-Cups sure can get expensive. One more thing: this is made in the USA. I know, I didn’t expect that either, but it’s true.
Since I’ve switched from regular K-Cups to my reusable filter, I feel like a better person. (I’m mostly serious about that too.) Now I just need to go find myself an organic decaf hazelnut, and I’ll really be in heaven.
Visit Ekobrew to learn more or make a purchase. You can also follow them on Facebook and Twitter.
Enter to win! Ekobrew is offering one of my readers TWO of their reusable filters. Open to US residents who are 18 or older. Ends 7/13/13. Good Luck!
