Disney•Pixar’s COCO Now on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, DVD, and On-Demand
Just when you think Pixar can’t possibly top themselves, they throw something like Coco at you. If you’ve seen the movie already, then you know exactly what I mean, and if you haven’t, then put it on your family movie night list pronto.
The film takes place in a small village in Mexico, where young Miguel yearns to become a musician. Defying his family’s ban on music, he decides to follow in the footsteps of his idol, Ernesto de la Cruz, but his ambition ends up putting him smack in the middle of the Land of the Dead.
If he’s to rejoin the living and be allowed to pursue his dream, he needs to get the blessing of a relative, and he must do so by sunrise. As you can imagine, his journey is peppered with colorful characters and amusing (and sometimes perilous) exploits, all of which teach Miguel the importance of family and following your dreams.
Along the way, you’ll get a little instruction on Mexican culture, including everything you ever wanted to know about ofrendas and the Day of the Dead. Of course, you can depend on Pixar to treat you to some stunning visuals while this is happening.
It should come as no surprise that music is an integral component of the story too. While it’s more of a movie with music than a full-blown musical, songs like “Remember Me” do an amazing job of immersing you in the story and helping you connect with the characters.
And that’s really what Coco is all about: connections. I’ve heard about a million people talk about how Coco is about death, but that’s not really it at all. It’s about sharing stories and experiences with your family and remembering those who came before you, and in essence, where you come from. The tale of Coco is beautifully told; you’ll laugh, you’ll cry, and you’ll want to discover all the things you don’t know about yourself.
Coco is now available to own, and there’s a format for everyone. The Multi-screen Edition includes Blu-ray, DVD, and a Digital copy, giving viewers the flexibility to watch the film on different devices. If you’re fancy and have 4K Ultra HD capability, you can choose the Digital 4K Ultra HD or the 4K UHD Combo Pack, which includes 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and a Digital copy. The best part of owning is that you get all the fun bonus material!
I know that you know how much my family and I are into the special features, and Coco does not disappoint. In fact, it goes above and beyond. You could certainly make an evening out of these gems alone:

I don’t have kids but I would like to see this movie! It looks amazing in the trailers.
I had heard it was about death as well and stayed away from it for my kids. I’m glad I read this because now we will probably actually watch it.
We will for sure check this out! We liked it a lot when we saw it!
This appears to be a really good movie. I am going to ask my grandchildren if they want to watch it next time they come over. If so I would certainly buy it for them.

I’ve seen the trailer of this but I have never seen the whole film. All my friends who have (even if they’re adults) love this movie.
They did do a good job with the movie. I think it was the big surprise hit of the year.
I am so happy this movie is out on DVD because it was my children’s absolute favorite movie. I think I may gift them this for Easter this year!
