Everyone’s favorite furry friend is finally getting his well-deserved chance at a feature film, and it couldn’t have happened at a better time.  Personally, I’m more than over all the dark, violent movies that seem to have become the norm.  They just aren’t fun, and they certainly aren’t appropriate for families to watch together.

Clifford, on the other hand, is every bit as charming on the big screen as he is in books and on television.  Let me warn you though, he’s been given a very realistic look for this movie.  It might take some getting used to, but I think you’ll be impressed with the quality.  That’s not all you’ll be impressed by though.  The Clifford the Big Red Dog movie is a wholesome, heartwarming story that’s a little bit silly, a whole lot cute, and surprisingly magical.  Viewers of all ages will enjoy sharing Clifford’s adventures.

A little about the movie:

When middle-schooler Emily Elizabeth (Darby Camp) meets a magical animal rescuer (John Cleese) who gifts her a little, red puppy, she never anticipated waking up to find a giant ten-foot hound in her small New York City apartment. While her single mom (Sienna Guillory) is away for business, Emily and her fun but impulsive uncle Casey (Jack Whitehall) set out on an adventure that will keep you on the edge-of-your-seat as our heroes take a bite out of the Big Apple. Based on the beloved Scholastic book character, Clifford will teach the world how to love big!

Clifford the Big Red Dog has been rated PG for impolite humor, thematic elements, and mild action.
