CAT Machine Maker Apprentice Multi Machines + Giveaway
When it comes to toys for my kids, my own personal favorites are the ones that inspire creativity and imagination. Something that encourages them to focus, use their hands, and really get involved is ideal. I’ve got just such a toy to share with you today, and I’m pretty excited about it.
The Cat Apprentice Machine Maker from Toy State is a 3-in-1 set of building fun! It comes with a whopping 272 pieces that kids 7 and up can use to build their own miniature versions of classic Cat trucks and machines.
As you can see, that’s a detailed machine, but don’t fear; step-by-step, illustrated instructions are included.
Smart Loc Technology not only makes assembly doable for kids, but it allows the machines to be easily taken apart and reassembled over and over again. It’s all done with a realistic screwdriver that really makes this feel like an authentic building experience.
The instructions will help your child build a Cat dump truck, excavator, and wheel loader, but they aren’t limited to just those machines. With almost 300 pieces to work with, kids can build anything that they can dream up. I should warn you though: there are only enough screws to really build one of these at a time, but building it is the main point anyway, so that doesn’t bother me too much.
The Cat Apprentice Machine Maker rocks, and let me tell you exactly why I think so. To build the example machines, kids will have to pay attention to the instructions from beginning to end. They’re going to sit down at a table or sprawl out on the floor and concentrate on a task. Because it also offers them freedom to produce their own creations, they have countless opportunities to let their imaginations run wild and come up with fantasy machines. Whichever direction they choose to go in on a particular day, they’re building something with their own hands, and they’re going to feel a sense of accomplishment once their machine is completed. And then after all of that, they get to play with it. See what I mean? It rocks.
I have to admit though, for me, the best part of this particular toy is that it comes with it’s own carrying case. (And it looks like a tool box. So cute.) I don’t even mind that there are so many pieces, because they go back in their own box when they’re done. Nothing gets lost, and I don’t end up with toy-shaped bruises on the bottoms of my feet.
You can find these sets at retailers like Amazon and Toys R Us. Don’t forget to connect with Toy State on Facebook and Twitter to keep up with their latest news.
Toy State is generously offering my readers a chance to win a Cat Apprentice Machine Maker Multi Machines Set! Giveaway is open to US residents who are 18 and older. Ends 12/18/17 at 11:59 PM ET. Good luck!
