Sesame Street C is for Cereal: Coming to a Breakfast Table Near You {Giveaway}
Sesame Street is becoming a part of my kids’ daily breakfast routine like never before. My 3-year-old and 18-month-old girls like to watch Sesame Street after breakfast most mornings, but now they can have a more complete experience with Elmo, Big Bird, Cookie Monster, and the gang with Post’s new line of Sesame Street cereals, “C is for Cereal”!
I love how the Sesame Street cereals are completely designed for toddlers: it’s shaped in cute little Xs and Os, so it’s easy for little ones to pick up and eat themselves, and it contains nutrients like iron, zinc, and choline that help support healthy brain development. Plus, it provides 22 grams of whole grain per 27 gram serving, it doesn’t include artificial flavors (or marshmallow fillers), and comes in yummy flavors like A is for Apple, B is for Banana, and S is for Strawberry. And with only 1 gram of sugar per serving, I feel better about giving this to my kids than other cereals.
My 18-month-old daughter smiled at Elmo on the cover of the box during her meal, and she also had fun shaking the box. My older daughter shouted, “yay! yay! yay!” when I asked her if she wanted to try the cereal with Elmo on the front, so the cereal received a rave review even before she tasted it. She enjoyed it so much, she even had a second bowl and hugged the box afterwards! My youngest daughter clapped for more. This cereal is totally going into her snack cup at snack time!
Each box of delicious, nutritious cereal also comes with an educational activity for you to do with your children, like “Count with Elmo”. Add a little learning fun to breakfasttime! I love what Post is bringing to the table with these new cereals. Admittedly, this stuff doesn’t taste like Fruity Pebbles (my childhood favorite), but it’s much better for my kids, and since they haven’t been raised on the “junk food” cereals, they are perfectly content with this less colorful and less sugary option. We XO Sesame Street and Post’s C is for Cereal!
