Whether you’ve read that quote before or it’s new to you, you can’t really argue with it.  Babo Botanicals keeps this idea in mind when creating natural and safe grooming products for the whole family.  Everything is made on a certified organic farm in upstate New York, and it’s all produced in small batches to ensure the highest level of quality.  The entire collection contains the certified organic Nutri-Soothe Blend which combines chamomile, calendula, kudzu, and watercress (rich in vitamins A, C, and D) to deliver maximum nutrients, protection, and moisturization.

So yes, Babo Botanicals products contain a lot of nourishing ingredients, but I’m even more impressed by what they don’t have in them:

The Babo Botanicals Essential Newborn Gift Set includes an Oatmilk Calendula Soothing Diaper Cream, Moisturizing Shampoo & Wash, and Moisturizing Baby Lotion packaged in a natural, reusable jute bag.  Oatmilk works to comfort dry, itchy skin and calendula soothes irritated skin.  Together, they’re the perfect combination of ingredients for soothing and protecting a newborn’s sensitive skin, but they’re also great for the whole family.  This was my first experience with this line of products, and I know everyone in my home has been loving this set.

Moisturizing Baby Shampoo & Wash – Great for newborns because the calendula helps soothe cradle cap.  This lathers well for a sulfate-free shampoo, and it leaves my son’s hair so soft!  In fact, I’m thinking about trying this one for myself.  Mommy likes soft hair too.
Soothing Diaper Cream – This is a little more grainy than what we had been using, but it smells significantly better and seems to soothe my son’s sensitive skin much more quickly.  My son’s diaper area is so easily irritated, and with this cream I can see results after just one application instead of the several that it usually takes.
Moisturizing Baby Lotion – This lotion makes the skin so, so soft.  When I use it on my own hands, they actually feel younger.  I’ve been applying it on my son’s legs after bathtime, and it’s done wonders to relieve his eczema.  Oh, and words cannot describe how amazingly delicious this smells.  All three products have a similar fragrance, of course, but this one is my favorite.  I want to cover all of my skin with this lotion and spend the rest of the day sniffing myself.  Seriously.  The kids are going to have to fight me for this stuff.  I vote to change the name from Moisturizing Baby Lotion to Moisturizing Mommy Lotion!

Whether your skin is dry and/or sensitive or you just like products that soothe and soften, you will be happy with the Babo Botanicals Oatmilk Calendula line.  They’re effective, yet they’re gentle enough for even pregnant women and newborns.  I’ve so enjoyed discovering these products for my children and for myself.  They would obviously make a great gifts, especially if you know someone who is expecting a new baby.  Mommy will love them too!
