Avocado Dreamsicle Smoothie Recipe
It seems like avocados are everywhere these days, and it’s no big mystery why the superfood has become so popular. They’re packed full of nutrients and healthy fats, and they’re just so satisfying! Even my kids are hooked—they have one for breakfast every week.
Did you know that there are two national days set aside to celebrate the magic and wonder of avocados? Yep, National Avocado Day is on July 31st, and National Guacamole Day is on September 16th. Don’t feel like waiting? Neither do we, and that’s why we’re excited to share this recipe for an Avocado Dreamsicle Smoothie from our friends at Just Salad. The texture of the avocado is a perfect complement to the coconut milk that makes this shake reminiscent of the creamsicles that made summer days so memorable during so many of our childhoods.
