Are You Ready for the Wet Head Challenge?
With summer officially here and the weather sunny and warm, one of my top priorities is getting my kids outdoors and away from the television. I have the same argument everyone else in my generation has: when I was there age, you couldn’t keep me inside! My friends and I were found playing outdoors every chance we got, and while I know times change and things are different these days, I hate to think of my kids missing out on the kind of fun I experienced.
I’m thrilled whenever I find toys that get my kids outside, so I’m very happy to share Wet Head with you.
Wet Head is a hilarious “water roulette” game, featuring a special hat and a whole lot of laughs.
The hat is actually a helmet with a water container on top. The container holds 8 pins, and that’s where the fun begins! Each player takes a turn wearing the helmet and spinning a spinner that tells how many pins to remove from the hat. One of those pins is the special one that holds all the water in. You might pull a pin out and find that nothing happens, but for the player who pulls the special pin…they get a wet head! There are plenty of options on the spinner to keep everyone on their toes. Some players have to skip a turn, where others may have to pull a pin and spin again! You never know what to expect.
There’s also a Wet Head Challenge app to make the game even more exciting. The toy comes with an actual spinner, but the app features a “digital” spinner and a trivia game, too. If you like trying to outsmart your opponents, you’ll love this version! Each player must put on the helmet and answer a trivia question; if they’re right, they can pass the hat. If they’re wrong, they have to pull a pin! I love that there are multiple options for playing, because it truly makes the game fun for all ages.
As for my kids, they are seriously loving Wet Head. We were able to give it a test spin at the TTPM Spring Showcase, and they loved it so much they begged to have one of their own. I love seeing them laugh so much, and they never seem to get tired of the game. My only issue with Wet Head is minor, and it’s that the pins are a little bit hard for the smallest of hands to remove. That said, it doesn’t seem to bother the kids at all.
You can grab the Wet Head for yourself at major online retailers like Amazon (just $11.99 + free 1-day shipping with Prime), as well as Target, Walmart, and ToysRUs stores nationwide. The Wet Head Challenge app is available both through the iTunes App Store and Google Play. Are you ready for the challenge?
