Are you ready for the holiday season? Yeah. Neither am I. Some of the things on my holiday to-do list for which I am completely unprepared include:
- Buy gifts
- Wrap gifts
- Decorate
- Visit Santa
- Have holiday pictures taken of the kiddies
- Send Christmas cards
- Watch A Charlie Brown Christmas and A Christmas Story with the family
- Plan and prepare an elaborate Christmas dinner
- Bake, bake, and then bake some more
I don’t know how I’m going to find the time to do it all, but I feel this way every year, and somehow it all gets done. Well, maybe I don’t always get around to sending out Christmas cards. (I promise it will happen this year! Maybe.) This time of year is busy for all of us, but there are a few tools out there to help make the whole experience easier on us poor, overworked moms, and you can find them at Best Buy.
Cooking up some fabulous holiday meals is easier than ever with the latest appliance technology, like the Frigidaire FGIF3061NF Induction Range. Cooking time is reduced with it’s Quick Preheat feature and its ability to boil water in just two minutes. Plus, it heats the pan and not the cooktop, so spills don’t burn. (You never spill though, right?) The range also has a convection oven that circulates the hot air throughout, resulting in less baking time. I’m pretty sure that means more cookies for me!
We’re in the process of having our kitchen redone, and one of my favorite upgrades is the addition of a new range with a double oven. Growing up, we had one of those giant double wall ovens, and although I’ve always missed the convenience that it offered, I just haven’t had the right space for that kind of set up. Ranges like the Whirlpool WGG555S0BS take up the same space as a standard range, but let you cook two different dishes at different temperatures at the same time. I’m looking forward to being able to make my Christmas lasagna (yes, I said lasagna) AND my side dishes AND my Christmas cookies all at once. (You really can’t have too many Christmas cookies.)
All of this new technology will allow you to spend less time cooking and more time with your friends and family. (That’s almost more time for eating those cookies without having to dedicate more time to baking them.) Learn more at bestbuy.com/holidayprep.
Okay, so I’ve got the cooking and baking taken care of. Now who’s going to help me with those Christmas cards?
What delicious things are going to come out of your kitchen this holiday season?

Love your new Whirlpool. Can’t even guess how many items I’ve bought at BestBuy over the years. I’m guessing with this double oven motivation, you might just add some new holiday items to the menu.
