Address Your Heart with Campbell’s Heart Healthy Recipes
This post is brought to you by the Campbell’s Soup Company.
I’ve always tried to lead a (mostly) healthy lifestyle, but now that I have kids, the choices I make are more important than ever. We all want to live long, healthy lives for our children, right? So like a good little girl, I take my vitamins, eat right (let’s forget about my little pizza addiction for now), and exercise several days a week. That takes care of me, but part of my job is to ensure that my family is healthy too.
One of the ways I do this is by preparing delicious, good-for-you meals every day. I want to give my family nutritious foods and teach them good eating habits in the process. This is an easy task with help from Campbell’s and their “Heart Healthy” American Heart Association Certified Recipes!
Turkey Meatloaf
Pork Medallions with Spinach & Barley
Slow-Cooked Chicken & Butternut Squash
Broccoli Cheddar Rice
Grilled Bruschetta Chicken
All of these recipes are relatively easy to make, affordable, and have been certified to meet the AHA’s nutrition requirements. I haven’t yet had an opportunity to try them all, but you can bet that I will. For now, I can assure you that the Turkey Meatloaf and the Broccoli Cheddar Rice are yummy!

My favorite is lean chicken breast cut up into tender-sized pieces and put into a skillet with about a 1/4 cup or so of low-fat italian dressing. It puts so much flavor into the chicken and the meat is really juicy!

Hmmm not sure I have a favorite recipe, but I like to use quinoa, couscous, and brown rice in my cooking a lot. I’ll pair one of thsoe with either frozen veggies or whatever greens are in season. We eat a lot of chicken thighs and occasionally lean ground beef or turkey. If I can find wild salmon on sale, I love to make a coconut chili salmon dish with spinach.
that last one loosk amazing
