Add Some Disney to Your Makeup Routine
Do you use makeup brushes?
For the longest time (like…my entire life), I never used any brushes other than the ones that came with my makeup. You know, the little one inch eyeshadow sticks, the tiny brush small enough to fit in your blusher, the sponge in your compact. Unfortunately, they’re very limited in flexibility and the quality is terrible (your makeup will often outlast the brush that comes with it).
When I started giving more attention to my makeup routine, I decided to invest in some brushes. Now if you’re anything like me, you’ve probably looked at the brushes at fancy cosmetics stores and nearly fainted at the prices. Guess what – you don’t have to buy super expensive brushes to get good results. And the fun thing about brushes that aren’t the “professional makeup artist” variety is that they often come in fun designs. Which leads me to the reason for this post:
This fall, you can get really awesome Disney brushes, sponges, and makeup bags by London SOHO New York, available exclusively at Walgreens!
I am so excited about this line, because I love Disney. You may have noticed a trend in Disney-themed items like this in the past: often you’ll find only princesses, not villains. Well, fellow evil-doers, listen up: this line includes villain makeup bags! I got the Evil Queen from Snow White, and I love it. The villain makeup bags come in three options, and really, I wish I had them all:
- Ursula
- Maleficent
- Evil Queen
As for brushes, I tried them all! Each pack has a different princess theme and brushes for different products. Included are:
The Ariel Magic Illusion 2-Piece Brush Set
- Complexion Perfecting Brush – large end for blending away imperfections, small end for banishing dark circles under eyes.
- Highlighting Brush – wide, short base for highlighting cheekbones and bridge of nose.
The Belle Enchanted Eyes 3-Piece Brush Set
- Medium Fluff Brush – short, round shape for depth and detail.
- Large Fluff Brush – soft, fluffy bristles for smooth eyeshadow application.
- Flat Angled Liner Brush – angled shape for flawless eyeliner.
The Jasmine Exotic Eyes 3-Piece Brush Set
- Brow Shaping Brush – angled brush for filling-in, spoolie for grooming.
- Crease and Detail Brush – crease side for contouring, detail side for adding depth.
- Fluff and Liner Brush – fluff side for eyeshadow, liner side for eyeliner.
Don’t forget about sponges. If you’ve never used a beauty blender sponge, you’re really missing out. Once I started using them, it’s the only way I will apply foundation. Nothing else provides such even and natural coverage. This Disney line includes:
- Pink Fairy Sponge – pointed tip, perfect for under eyes and in corners.
- Blue Fairy Sponge – egg shaped dome, perfect for gradually building coverage.
- Green Fairy Sponge – wide base, perfectly covers large areas like cheekbones, forehead, and neck.
The Snow White Spellbound Beauty Sponge
- Unique shape works great with both liquids and creams.
- The pointed end takes care of the inner corners of eyes and nose.
- The wide base takes care of all-over blending.
If you’re in the market for new brushes, or if you’ve never used brushes and want to give them a try, these are perfect! The prices are great, and so is the quality and style. Plus, there’s no need to travel to a high-end cosmetics store to get them – they’re available at Walgreens! Make sure to act fast – these brushes are only available for a limited time, and only in stores. When they’re sold out, they’re gone for good!

Who doesn’t love Disney? I am not a makeup kind of gal, but my daughter would love the brushes. Ariel used to be her favorite when she was young.

I don’t wear makeup, but I am loving these brushes! Would it be weird if I bought them, but never used them? Hehehe!
I need new brushes badly and these are perfect. They don’t cost a fortune and who doesn’t love Disney? I think I need the Ursula bag!
