A Cozy Wool Hat that Flatters Every Head + BOGO Sale for National Hat Day!
The holidays are over, the decorations are packed away, the kids are back at school, and my husband and I are back to work. In other words, things are back to normal. I always feel sad when the warm, happy feeling of the holidays has passed and we’re left with just a cold winter to endure. I’m always looking for ways to up the cozy factor, and one of my favorite things is to bundle up as much as I can in soft, warm clothes. This means from January to March, you’ll only find me wearing fluffy socks and fleece pajamas, the warmest of sweaters and coats, and knitted scarves made from the softest yarn.
Oh, and hats. So many hats. I hate nothing more than having a cold head and ears, so I’m trying to build a nice collection of hats to keep me warm. I have plenty of those fun knit hats with the colorful pom pom on top, as well as some wool and felt fedoras, but I felt like I was lacking something that was as cozy and comfortable as a beanie, while also being a little less casual. We all need to dress it up now and then!
I feel like it was a real quest to find this mythical unicorn of a hat, but I’ve finally done it. Meet the Tenth Street “Tula” wool cloche.
Designed by Scala, Tula is as comfortable as it is stylish—and it fits my rather large head perfectly. It shields my head and ears from the elements, and it’s quite soft on the skin for a hat that’s 100% wool. Somehow, the Tula hat also manages to be equally flattering and comfy for a smaller head, like that of my daughter who begged to model it for you. Yeah, we’ve been fighting over this one ever since it arrived.
One of my favorite things about this hat, is that it maintains its shape really well. I’ve carried it in my purse, rolled it up and packed it into a suitcase, and I even sat on it in the car once. It still looks as good as new. If you’re in the market for a hat you can travel with during the winter, Tula is definitely for you.
Tula fits better than most hats I’ve tried, it goes with everything, and it keeps me warm in the cold weather without doing too much damage to my hairstyle. You couldn’t ask for anything more in a winter hat, and I couldn’t love it more than I do!
Tula is available in twelve color options at Tenth Street Hats. While you’re over there, be sure to check out their other women’s wool hats as well as the rest of their selection. They’ve got a slew of designer and handmade hats for both men and women. At TenthStreetHats.com, you’ll find something to suit every style and season!
National Hat Day is January 15th, and Tenth Street is celebrating with a BOGO sale! This is the time to experiment with a new style. Grab a hat you can wear now, and grab another one for the summertime—or share the joy and gift the second one. Whatever you choose, you can’t go wrong, but take advantage of this amazing deal while you can!

What a darling hat. Keeping the head warm is important in the winter months. A good portion of the body heat escapes thru the head. This one is so cute you won’t want to take off when indoors.
