Treats from Harvard Sweet Boutique & a Cookie Recipe!
As an aficionado of sweet treats, I jumped at the chance to review Harvard Sweet Boutique, and boy was I glad I did! These baked goods are absolutely amazing. I received a sampler that consisted of a brownie, four different cookies, a blondie, and a piece of toffee.
Cookies
I was sent the following cookie flavors to try: White chocolate macadamia, oatmeal raisin, ginger molasses and peanut butter chocolate chip. Each one of these cookies was amazing. They were all moist, and had rich, distinctive flavors. Ginger molasses even impressed my husband, who generally isn’t a fan of ginger flavored cookies. The oatmeal raisin was so chewy and moist, I swear it felt like it was melting in my mouth. My favorite, though, was the peanut butter chocolate chip, which was dipped in bittersweet chocolate. It was just a taste sensation, and I definitely wished I had more of them later!
Brownie
My brownie selection was Harvard Sweet Boutique’s mint brownie. I am lucky to like mint/chocolate combos. My husband does, so this one was all mine (insert slightly evil laugh here)! This was rich, and moist. It was a large brownie, and I didn’t even eat it all in one sitting. I will say this… the mint flavor is very intense. I personally like that, but if you are kind of meh on mint, I’d recommend trying one of the many other brownie varieties offered by Harvard Sweet Boutique instead. This one is definitely for mint lovers!
Blondie
The blondie flavor I was sent was orange hazelnut. I need to be honest here. I tend to not like things with orange. This is where my husband got even because he loves anything with orange. I still tasted this blondie, and I have to say it was still delicious, even though I am not crazy about orange. I let him have most of it, and he raved about it. It’s pretty hard to get my husband to rave, so be impressed. This blondie was so soft, and not overly sweet (a problem I often have with blondies). I’d love to try their other blondie flavor, coconut macadamia, because I adore coconut!
Toffee
I have three words. Oh. My. God. Luscious, scrumptious, mouth-watering toffee. I love toffee. I’ve been a huge fan of Heath bars since I was a kid, and when I saw the toffee sample in the box, I was so excited. I have never had toffee this delicious before in my life. It absolutely melts in your mouth, and unlike a lot of homemade toffee I’ve tried, it’s not so hard you risk breaking a tooth. It’s actually surprisingly soft for toffee, yet still crunchy. I savored this and, if I’m being honest here, I really didn’t want to share. Hehe. But my husband also loves toffee, so I did share and he was also very impressed.
I love that Harvard Sweet Boutique sent me such a varied selection of products and flavors, really giving me the chance to critique the variety of products they offer. Every single piece was delicious and tasted home baked, unlike some of the online companies you can order from where the products taste mass produced. This is likely because Harvard Sweet Boutique specializes in small batch, made from scratch goodies. The packaging, as you can see in the above pictures I obtained from their website, is absolutely gorgeous. I wasn’t able to take a picture of my box, due to a dead camera battery, but it was every bit as beautiful as in the above pics, and I doubt I could’ve done it justice. Not only was it pretty, but the box is so well made I’ve saved it to reuse for gift giving later!
Harvard Sweet Boutique also offers warm weather wrap options, as many of their products are susceptible to melting. They have low carb and gluten free alternatives to some of their products, too. There’s also a wide variety of price points, from a selection of gifts under $20 to many more complex gift assortments. With Mother’s Day, graduations, Father’s Day, and other holidays/events on the horizon, I definitely recommend Harvard Sweet Boutique for your sweet-treat gift giving needs. In fact, we’ll be sending my picky mother-in-law and her sister gifts from here for Mother’s Day!

Disclaimer: While I was given promotional items from Harvard Sweet Boutique, my discerning and picky sweet-lover’s palate cannot be bought, and these treats had to impress me on their own… and they did. My rave review is 100% authentic, but your own experiences and taste preferences may differ.

You had me at chocolate but low-carb, peanut butter, and chunk put this at the top of my list to try. The gift boxes will make a unique gift instead of the standard flowers. Thanks for posting!
