Van’s Natural Foods Review & Giveaway
If you have ever shopped for natural foods, you’re probably familiar with Van’s.
Van’s began as a restaurant in the 1970s, serving fresh whole grain and gluten-free waffles. They later brought their waffles to local grocery stores, and these days they have an entire range of yummy, good-for-you treats.
In addition to their awesome current lineup of foods, Van’s is introducing several new snack products, including multigrain chips and PB&J snack bars. Van’s kindly gave us a taste of some of their new foods, and they were all a huge hit in my house!
Van’s motto right now is “Treat Yourself”, and is it ever true! Their products are such a great choice for a tasty treat you don’t have to feel bad about.
The PB&J bars were amazing. You’ll notice that I don’t have a picture of an unopened bar; that’s because it looked so good, I ate it before I remembered to take a picture. They come in both strawberry and blueberry jelly flavors, and they are so good! I think I loved them as much as the kids. They’re sweet, rich, and gluten-free!
My daughter’s favorite was the Whole Grain Mini Waffles. They’re tasty, and they are so easy for breakfast on school days. They’re mini, so they’re the perfect size for little hands, and they kids get a kick out of dunking them in syrup. They’re fun, ridiculously easy, and made with 100% whole grains.
My son loved the Multigrain Chips, particularly the Nacho, Nacho Man flavor. Yes, I laughed at the name, too. He was a cheesy mess by the time I managed to pry the bag from his hands, and he was very serious when he questioned why he wasn’t allowed to eat the entire bag in one sitting! The nacho flavor and the Mighty Good BBQ flavor were both excellent, and I think they will be great sandwich sides or healthier alternatives to French fries. They’re as flavorful as they come, gluten-free, and made with 18g of whole grains.
Van’s also offers a full line of cereals, crackers, French toast sticks, pancakes, in addition to the many other waffle and snack bar options. Whether you crave sweet or salty, I just know that Van’s has something that will satisfy. Their flavors will knock your socks off, and they wholesome ingredients will make you feel good about your snacking choices.
