L’BRI Pure and Natural Skincare
This post is brought to you by L’BRI.
Today I’m excited to share a new-to-me line of all-natural skin- and body-care products called L’BRI PURE n’ NATURAL.
L’BRI PURE n’ NATURAL offers a full line of aloe vera and plant-based products. In fact, the first ingredient in all L’BRI skin care, health & wellness, hair, and body care products is Aloe Barbadensis Miller. No, that’s not Mr. Miller’s son, it’s aloe vera. I promise. 🙂
Because one of my New Year’s Resolutions was to take better care of my skin, I tried two of L’BRI’s facial products: the Rejuvenating Facial Peel and the Facial Masque.
I really loved the Rejuvenating Facial Peel. When I first opened the tub and saw the consistency of the product, I was afraid it would be sticky. I was pleasantly surprised that it didn’t feel sticky at all once it was applied. To use this peel, just apply it to dry skin and let it sit for 20-30 seconds. Then rub the product in a circular motion until small beads of skin form. It sounds totally gross, but it’s not! It’s very gentle and leaves your skin amazingly soft. The directions said you can also use the peel on areas such as elbows, knees, feet, and hands. Since I had callouses on my hands after using crutches for three months, I jumped right on that suggestion! Even after one use, there is a huge difference in appearance and softness.
The Facial Masque was also a winner. Just a heads up: its consistency is a bit runny, and I dripped a little the first time I tried it. Now that I know what it’s like, I can avoid the dripping and pass along this handy word of caution to you! The masque is a little more sticky than the peel when applied, but it dries very fast. I cannot tolerate sticky products, so believe me when I say it is definitely endurable even for the sticky-phobe. It’s also gentle and did not leave my skin feeling tight and dry like most masks I’ve used.
Based on performance alone, I give both the peel and the masque two thumbs up. When I add in the fact that these products are all natural and do not include bad-for-you ingredients like parabens, sodium lauryl sulfate, propylene glycol, and artificial colors/fragrances, I have to bring in my kids to add their two thumbs up with mine. Hey, I only have so many thumbs here, and these products deserves more!

I am a huge believer in the healing properties of Aloe. Do you know I have been growing my own aloe and eating it. Not bad either.

I’m really blown away by how gentle these are. It’s especially appreciated during these winter months when my face gets all dry and is easily irritated.
I love aloe, I grow it and include it in my daily diet. It’s great to add into green smoothies…..

Sounds like great products! I’m a big fan of Aloe where I used to eat and drink it. My dad used to grow it and I would rub it on my face and it really did work.
