Zim’s Naturally Based Products Giveaway
We’ve all been there.
You might wake up one morning and your neck feels like someone stood on it all night, and now you can’t look to your left without turning your entire body.
Or you may skip a few weeks at the gym, and when you try to jump back in to your regular routine, you can barely walk the next day.
And sometimes you might let the dishes get out of hand, and end up with sore wrists and dry, cracked skin by the time you’re finished washing.
You get the picture.
When you have a stiff neck, or a sore back, or dry hands, what products do you reach for? A few big names come to mind, and you’ve probably seen the advertisements for them here and there.
But have you heard of Zim’s?
Zim’s has been around for over 60 years, so it’s no new kid on the block. But it does have a great new quality you might not know about – their products have been recently reformulated and now have naturally-based ingredients including aloe, arnica, Vitamin E, and tea tree oil. Zim’s also contains no harmful ingredients like parabens, sulfates, or synthetic fragrances.
A side note about arnica: I learned about arnica several years ago when I was having surgery and the doctor recommended I take it. According to the Unviersity of Maryland Medical Center, “Applied to the skin as a cream, ointment, liniment, salve, or tincture, arnica has been used to soothe muscle aches, reduce inflammation, and heal wounds.” I am always happy to choose a natural product over a synthetic one, especially if it works just as well. And Zim’s does! Years of exercising has left me with joint pain, and I’ve also suffered from back pain for many years. I can definitely use another weapon in my arsenal for those battles!
Fortunately, I recently had the opportunity to try out several of the reformulated products in the Zim’s line.
Max Freeze Gel
As the name would suggest, this product is a gel. It is intended to be gently massaged into sore joints and muscles. And I’ll take any excuse for a massage, won’t you?
Max Freeze Roll-On
This is a roll-on version of the above gel. Again, apply with gentle massaging motion. The plus side to a roll-on is that it makes it easier to reach places you might not hit with hands alone, and it’s also mess free!
Maximum Heat Gel
This is serious stuff! It contains capsaicin. Yes, the active component of chili peppers. And yes, it’s hot! This product is intended only for adults 18 and older. Consider it a maximum strength replacement for the Max Freeze products.
Crack Creme Original Formula
This spray is a multi-use liquid intended to soften and moisturize dry, cracked skin. It’s recommended for nighttime use. You can use it during the day, but below you’ll see a special daytime formula. This product has an oily formula, which makes it great for night because you can spray it on, add some of those fun aloe-infused socks (or even regular socks) to help it soak in, and sleep with it overnight. Be careful not to slip if you spray it on your feet!
Crack Creme Creamy Daytime Formula
The daytime formula is not oily, but creamy, making it ideal for regular use during the day. It’s great for hands, feet, elbows, and cuticles, just like the Original Formula.
I found Zim’s to be a great, natural product for relief of muscle and joint pain, as well as dry skin. The selections I tried are only just a few of their full product line. No matter the cause of your aches, Zim’s has a product for you.
Enter to win the same Zim’s package that I reviewed here! Open to residents of the continental US who are 18 and older. Ends 10/3/13. Good luck!
